I'm so happy to introduce you to Natashja Spenler, a guest artist who will be coming to my studio to share her talent with you.
Natashja Spenler is a needle felter from London, Ontario. She was a teacher for 30 years and is currently enjoying her time pursuing her passion - felting animals and teaching others the joy of this art/craft form.
In this four-hour Hare class, you will build your sculpture over a wire frame. All supplies will be provided for you to create a beautiful Hare measuring approximately 15 cm in height. Your Hare will be seated and moon-gazing. Learn how to shape muscle tone, blend wool for ears and face, as well as create a realistic pelt. Through the process of needle felting, you will create your own whimsical creature.
Natashja will be doing some pre-class prep for you in order to assist with your wire frame structures.
Tea, coffee and some snacks will be provided to round out this perfect afternoon getaway!
