Spend an afternoon painting a joyful wildflower garden filled with loose expressive blooms, butterflies, bees, and playful pollinators. In this relaxed 3-hour acrylic workshop, you’ll learn how to build an abstract floral background, paint cone flowers and black-eyed Susans with bold brushstrokes, and add simple whimsical butterflies and bees full of movement and personality.
This class is designed for beginners and anyone wanting to loosen up their painting style. We’ll focus on layering colour, creating texture, using expressive marks, and keeping the process fun and approachable rather than perfect. Students will work from a placemat-style reference guide with step-by-step visuals for flowers and pollinators.
You’ll leave with a finished 9 x 12" acrylic painting, new painting techniques, and the confidence to continue exploring loose abstract florals on your own.

- This workshop takes place at Neruda Arts in St. Jacobs. You will be sent an email 1 week prior to your workshop to share directions, parking instructions and other.
