Whether you are part of a group or going solo, this would be the perfect event for an unforgettable experience. You will be spoiled and immersed in the beauty and history of our lovely Grand River during the late summer when wildlife keeps this intricate ecosystem buzzing with stories of beauty, birth and survival.
Located in the tranquil County of Brant near Caledonia, Grand River Cruises - a family owned business - has been running for over 45 years. This is definitely a treasure I'm excited to share with you.
This is my 1st annual and local Felted View Retreat, and I could not be more thrilled to embark upon a 3-hour evening cruise with you where you will enjoy the friendly company of others, needle felt a scene inspired by your surroundings, and take in the gorgeous riverside life and country around you. Unlike with Gilligan's Island, I promise you we will not become deserted!
You will be requested to meet the larger group at 4 PM on the property of Grand River Cruises where we will take time to chat about felting as an art form and what we will be working on as we float along happily together. Right before 5 PM, you will collect your 'riverboat rucksack' from me which will contain your basic felting supplies along with your cold (but very tasty) meal to eat at your leisure.
The cost of this outing includes: your three-hour cruise from 5PM - 8PM, all your felting supplies, your light (delicious and healthy!) meal plus any other special treats I have planned. You may purchase beverages (non alchoholic or alcoholic - extra charge) from the friendly cruise staff.
No felting experience is necessary for this special event. Whether you have taken a class with me before or are brand new to felting, I promise that you will have a most wonderful and memorable time with an exceptional group of people.

As you can see, we need a nice, big group of felters to make this unique experience happen. Therefore, rustle up your friends and family. If you have any special occasion to celebrate, look ahead and gift this to your people!
