Ten years ago I bought a beautiful, teal lineolated parakeet. I called her Posey, as she reminded me of a little flower that you'd find in a posey (a small bunch of flowers).
I call this piece Posey in hour of my cherished pet who I still am thankful to have with me. I wet felted this picture and then used my needle to sharpen details and add more accents.
Set in a mahogany-coloured frame with a touch of gold detail, this lovely picture reminds us that while flowers endlessly inspire art, there is a reason! Who can tire of beautiful colours?
